A Comedy Roast is a British comedy television show broadcast by Channel 4. After a series of failed attempts by various broadcasters over the years, it is the first adaptation of the American comedy institution of roasting to be produced as a television show in Britain. The first series premiered on 7 April 2010. Hosted by Jimmy Carr it saw Bruce Forsyth, Sharon Osbourne and Chris Tarrant get roasted by various colleagues, comedians and celebrities. The show returned on 15 October 2010 targeting Davina McCall.

The Comedy Central Roast of Steve Hofmeyr, Comedy Central's first ever African "Roast" featured the roasting of controversial public figure, Steve Hofmeyr, by an all star "roasting" panel consisting of Kuli Roberts, Casper De Vries, John Vlismas, Robert Whitehead, Anele Mdoda, Shaleen Surtie-Richards, David Kau, Minki Van Der Westhuizen and Trevor Noah.

Shot in 2004, the Roast of Jim Norton was held at the world-famous Caroline's Comedy Club in New York, NY. It features some of the greatest comics of the New York scene, and is part of comedy history. Produced by Comedy Anatomy's own Masavia Greer, along with Yumi Akiyama, the Roast of Jim Norton was hosted by Rich Vos, and featured comedians Jim Florentine, Vanessa Hollingshead, Nick DiPaolo, Greg Giraldo, Laurie Kilmartin, Colin Quinn, Rev. Bob Levy, Ross Bennett, Ben Bailey, Opie & Anthony, the late Patrice O’Neal and Greg Giraldo (rest in peace), and of course, guest of honor Jim Norton.
